Rep Ibe Okwara Reaffirms Commitment To Boost Health, Economy in Arochukwu/Ohafia With World Bank, Gavi Support
The member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Ibe Okwara Osonwa, has reaffirmed his commitment to partnering with the Abia State Government to improve healthcare and economic opportunities for the people.
Osonwa made the declaration after meeting with the Governor of Abia State, Alex Chioma Otti, during a visit to the Government House in Umuahia.
Writing on his Facebook page on Thursday, the federal lawmaker described the meeting as a productive engagement focused on advancing development initiatives across the state, particularly in the Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.
He stated that he remains determined to fulfil his campaign promises by working towards improving the health and economic wellbeing of the people.
“I remain firmly committed to enhancing the health and economic wellbeing of the people of Abia State, starting with the prosperous communities of the Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, in line with my campaign promises,” Osonwa said.
The lawmaker also disclosed that the efforts would be carried out in collaboration with the Abia State Government and development partners, including the World Bank and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.
According to him, the partnership is aimed at delivering improved health services and better economic outcomes for residents across the state.
Osonwa commended Governor Otti for maintaining what he described as an open-door policy and for his commitment to building a better future for the people of Abia State.
He also expressed appreciation to the governor for his dedication to the vision of a “New Abia,” noting that he remains a dependable partner in the effort to drive development across the state.
