Chief Umeh Kalu SAN Commends LPPC for Restoring Uche Ihediwa’s SAN Rank
Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and Life Bencher, Chief Umeh Kalu, has commended the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC) for restoring the SAN rank to Chief Uche Ihediwa, the immediate past Attorney General of Abia State.
In a statement issued in Abuja, Kalu, a former Attorney General of Abia State, expressed gratitude to God and joined legal professionals and well-meaning Nigerians in celebrating the reinstatement. He praised the LPPC for what he described as a “noble act” and acknowledged the role of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) under the leadership of Afam Osigwe (SAN), Life Bencher, “for their worthy role in achieving this milestone”.
Kalu emphasised that Ihediwa’s reinstatement marks the end of a challenging phase in his career and predicted that it would inspire him to contribute even more to the legal profession and society at large.
“For Uche Ihediwa, I am sure that his liberation from the wilderness where he had unfortunately found habitation for the past seven months will definitely strengthen his resolve and commitment towards rendering greater service to the Legal Profession, humanity, and above all, draw him closer to God; for all things work out for good to those who trust in the Lord,” Kalu stated.
He further noted that Ihediwa’s future remains bright, filled with numerous possibilities and opportunities, expressing confidence that his reinstatement would serve as a stepping stone for greater achievements.

RESTORATION OF SAN RANK ON CHIEF UCHE IHEDIWA
I join my colleagues of the Legal Profession and well-meaning Abians/Nigerians in thanksgiving to God for the restoration of the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) on Uche Ihediwa, the immediate past Attorney General of Abia State.
I hail the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee for this noble act and salute the new leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association as headed by Afam Osigwe (SAN), Life Bencher, for their worthy role in achieving this milestone.
For Uche Ihediwa, I am sure that his liberation from the wilderness where he had unfortunately found habitation for the past seven months will definitely strengthen his resolve and commitment towards rendering greater service to the Legal Profession, humanity, and above all, draw him closer to God; for all things work out for good to those who trust in the Lord.
