Gov. Idris, Civil Society hail FERMA for massive repairs of roads across Nigeria
Abuja – In a remarkable display of leadership and vision, the Managing Director of the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Dr. Chukwuemeka Agbasi, has received widespread acclaim for his transformative work in road maintenance and management across Nigeria.
Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has praised FERMA for its outstanding work in rehabilitating and reconstructing federal roads in the state. The governor’s commendation came during a courtesy visit by the State Minister for Works, Alhaji Bello Goronyo on Thursday in Birnin Kebbi
In a separate development, the Conference of Civil Society for Transparency and Accountability (COCTA) has hailed Dr. Agbasi for his exceptional leadership and proactive approach to road maintenance and repairs. COCTA National Coordinator, Comrade Haruna Okatahi, noted that under Dr. Agbasi’s leadership, FERMA has made significant strides in road maintenance and management, introducing innovative solutions that have positively impacted many Nigerians.

COCTA has been keeping a close eye on FERMA’s projects, and according to Okatahi, they’ve identified significant road rehabilitation work done by FERMA in multiple locations across Nigeria. Some of the states where these projects have been identified include Oyo, Kwara, Ekiti, Cross River, and several others, Okatahi explained
