Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Chioma Otti, has commended the lawmaker representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa, for launching a smart school initiative at Ofali Agwu School in Amaekpu Ohafia, Ohafia Local Government Area.
Governor Otti made this remark while commissioning the smart school facilities initiated by the lawmaker on Wednesday in Ohafia.
He said: “What has been achieved here will set the standard for all schools in Abia State. I thank Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa for leading the way, and we will all follow suit.”
The lawmaker stated that smart school project is part his commitment to improving educational standards within his constituency and aligning them with global best practices.
He said the school was transformed into a fully digitalised institution, equipped with smart boards and modern technology provided by Wowbii Company, alongside a curriculum developed by EduLab 360. The school promises to offer students a modernised learning experience tailored to 21st-century demands.
The innovative project will enable students from Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency to access cutting-edge educational tools, fostering adaptability to global standards and enhancing their learning outcomes.
