A political group, under the aegis of PDP Coalition Ohafia South Chapter, has endorsed Igwe Kalu Ojike, as its consensus candidate for Ohafia Local Government Area chairmanship position.
Membership of the group which is made up of politicians believe Ojike is the right man to occupy the number one political office in the council area.
The decision to endorse Ojike was reached after an enlarged stakeholders virtual meeting of the group held recently in Ohafia.
I’m a statement signed by Udeh C. Udeh, and made available to newsmen, noted that the group decided to throw their weight behind Ojike because he has shown strong commitment to the development of Ohafia Local Government Area.
According to the group, Ojike has demonstrated zeal, passion, enthusiasm and the will to serve Ohafia People, saying if given the opportunity to be Chairman, he is going to entrench a new governance order that will positively transform the Local Government Area for the benefit of the people.
“We have unanimously endorsed Igwe Kalu Ojike as the next Chairman of Ohafia LGA. He is an illustrious son of Ohafia with a resounding track record of excellence and distinction in both private and public practice. We have no doubt in our minds that he will bring his wealth of experience to bear in the politics and governance of our council area.“
