In a bid to ensure food sufficiency in his constituency, the lawmaker representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa, has distributed bags of fertilizers to farmers in his constituency.
Speaking at the distribution ceremony, Osonwa, who was represented by his legislative aides, said the gesture was in fulfillment of his promise to the farmers when he distributed high yielding seedlings to enhance maximum yield this farming season.
He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the items in order to increase their yield and boost food security in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Abia State, and Nigeria at large.
