Rivers Governor Siminialayi Fubara has sent five commissioner-nominees to the Victor Oko-Jumbo-led House of Assembly for screening and confirmation as members of the state Executive Council.
The lawmakers responded immediately by inviting the nominees for screening on Tuesday.
The nominees Dr. Sam Anya, Mr Ilamu Arugu, Dr. Rowland Obed Whyte, Samuel Eyiba, and Sir Austin Emeka Nnadozie were asked to appear before the legislators at 10am.
They were asked to come along with 12 sets of their curriculum vitae (CV) and the originals and photocopies of their credentials.
