The lawmaker representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa, says his constituency has a lot to offer the pharmaceutical industry, and the healthcare sector at large.
He urged key players in the healthcare sector to look towards Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency for investment and collaboration.

The lawmaker stated this when he hosted the Senior Officer—Corporate Relations and Referral Networks of Canadian Specialist Hospital, Alan Tendel at his office in the National Assembly.
He said his office as a lawmaker is prepared to collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality, life-saving drugs for mothers and children.
According to Osonwa, the collaboration is in alignment with the vision of Governor Alex Otti for comprehensive healthcare for all Abians.
“Abia state is witnessing a lot of growth in the healthcare sector within the last one year— under the leadership of Governor Alex Otti. We are ready to seek collaboration to drive the vision of Governor Alex Otti especially in the health sector. Explore what we have in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, let’s see how we can collaborate together,” he said.
Responding, Mr Tendel said his organization though based in United Arab Emirates (UAE), would be happy to collaborate with the lawmaker for the advancement of his constituency.
He was accompanied by Real Admiral Harry Ngonadi Rtd to the visit.
