The Urgent Need to Halt Hon. Ben Kalu’s Political Maneuvering and Why Governor Alex Otti Should Be Vigilant
By Mbaukwu Ihedigbo
Recently, I have personally observed the body language and movements of Hon. Ben Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Benjamin Kalu appears very smart and is doing everything possible to push his political narrative. This is commendable, and he is entitled to his ambition as the law recognizes such inordinate ambition.
Personally, I love his smartness and how acceptable he is. There is no doubt he is a marketable product. He has all it takes to achieve his ambition.
However, Abians should immediately rise and stop Hon. Benjamin Kalu for the following reasons:
Reconvening of Rejected Politicians
Abians made a bold decision in the last election and said enough is enough with the bad eggs in the state. They used their ballot papers to remove all the political bad eggs in the Abia political system.
Most of them have been in power for the past 24 years, serving in all governments of the PDP. These men, who see politics and free money as the only means of survival, can do anything to retain power.
These men do not have a conscience. One of them admitted in a live broadcast that he is shameless. Others are known for their wickedness and treacherous tendencies.
Abians knew that these men had no intention of serving the state, hence gave them a deadly blow by sending them packing.
A few months ago, it was alleged that Hon. Ben Kalu wooed them into joining the APC. These men have allegedly pledged their loyalty to Ben Kalu’s structure.
These individuals are not marketable, and no Abian will ever vote for them or take them seriously because Abians already know them by their treacherous nature.
We need to stop Ben Kalu now so that he will not recycle these men and inject them back into our political system.
With these men, Ben should know that whatever ambition he has is dead on arrival. These men have lost their influence in the political space of Abia State and can never drive his ambition.
The governor should also be wary of Ben because it is certain that Ben has launched his movement in all the 17 local government areas of Abia State. His ambition may not be far from wrestling power from the governor in the near future. The governor should immediately stop the bromance between them and start seeing him as a competitor and a political enemy.
I am 100% aware of all their plans and moves. However, I am not bothered because Ben is using expired products in NAFDAC and SON industries.
To be continued.

“The deputy speaker is a marketable product and a smart politician.” That is actually coming from you Mr. Madukwe, and you understand that the governor of the state can not stoop so low to take your words serious. The relationship between the DS and the governor did not start today and you can’t stop them with your naysay.
APC Able will do themselves a lot harm if they allow those shameless PDPigs running for political shelter to take cover in APC. These people should be politically ostracized
