The Annual Conference on INTEGRITY And PATRIOTISM organized by Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ), is gathering momentum. The conference which has been
scheduled to hold in early July at the Federal Capital City, Abuja comes with the theme: “LEADERS AND NATION BUILDING.” The Annual Conference designed to sensitize leaders across the board to be mentally integrity and Patriotism conscious in their leadership responsibilities.
The National President of the Association, Dr Charles Okhai, in his Press Statement stated that the Hon Minister of Sports and development, JOHN OWAN ENOH is expected to deliver the Keynote address titled, “INTEGRITY AND PATRIOTISM, KEY VITAL FACTORS TO BUILDING A VIRILE NATION ” The Association President, Dr Charles in his Press Statement also revealed that the Association picked the Honorable Minster for the noble role of the Keynote Speaker in view of his impressive credentials as a man of Integrity.
Dr Charles further described the Hon Minister as a national hero who has served the nation as an excellent and diligent Teacher. He was also a three time Honorable member of the Federal House of Representative during which he was Chairman of the House Committee on Finance with an impeccable record of performance. He later got elected to represent the Cross River Central Senatorial District in the 8th Senate Assembly and also served as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance with a more remarkable balance sheet of performance.
The Annual Conference on INTEGRITY And PATRIOTISM is also expected to be honored with the Chairmanship of distinguished Senator Dr Victor Umeh, OFR . Senator Umeh is prominent Nigerian who once served as the National Chairman of the “ALL PROGRESSIVE GRAND ALLIANCE” ( APGA). He is currently a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing Anambra Senatorial District in the 10th Senate Assembly. Senator Umeh is also the Principal Consultant of V.C. UMEH & CO, a firm of Estate Surveyors and Valuers , and a Director of several companies.
The Annual conference is a humble contribution to the developmental progress of the nation by the Association. A few eminent Nigerians will be honored at the event as men and women of Integrity and Patriotism. The Award is only conferred on the deserving individuals who have demonstrated high sense and Patriotism in their respective offices as leaders.
