ABIA: Hon. Ibe Okwara Applauds Gov Otti On Arochukwu/Ohafia Road Project

Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa has applauded Governor Alex Otti of Abia State for flagging off the reconstruction of the Umuahia-Uzuakoli-Abiriba-Ohafia road.

The lawmaker, who made the commendation in a statement in Abuja, yesterday, said such people-oriented projects and initiatives must be commended and supported by all Abians.

Osonwa noted that the governor’s action has once again proven that he was well prepared to transform Abia State and impact positively on the lives of the people.

He said Governor Otti’s effort to strengthen road network across the state showed that the governor was not toying with the lives of the citizens of the state.

He added that the Umuahia-Uzuakoli-Abiriba-Ohafia road —when completed would relieve motorists and commuters from the nightmare they were having before.

He said the road project would also improve the economic growth of the state and make it attractive to both local and international investors.

“Governor Alex Otti has broken several jinxes in governance since he assumed office as the Governor of Abia State.

“The Umuahia-Uzuakoli-Abiriba-Ohafia road is very strategic to my constituency and the state at large. On behalf of the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, I sincerely commend Governor Alex Otti for flagging off the reconstruction of this road.

“When completed, this road will relieve motorists and commuters from the nightmare they were having before. It will improve the economic growth of the state and make it attractive to both local and international investors.

“Abia people will live to remember his reign,” he added.

The lawmaker called on Abia people to shun sentiments and give the Otti–led administration the necessary support and encouragement to succeed.
