New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) governorship candidate in the 2023 gubernatorial election in Abia State, Dr. Ukpai Iro Ukpai, has expressed his condolences to the people of Ohafia Udumaeze in Ohafia Local Government Area, over the demise of His Royal Paramountcy, Prof. Emmanuel Ume Lekwa Imaga, the Udumaeze of Ohafia and Chairman Ohafia Council of Nde Ezie Ogo.
Ukpai, in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja, described Prof. Imaga’s death as a great loss not only to Ohafia but Abia State in general.
He said the late Ezieogo was an embodiment of peace and wisdom whose reign witnessed great development of his domain.
He further noted that the late traditional ruler used his wealth of knowledge and wisdom to bear while on the throne, declaring he would be sorely missed.
While urging the people of Ohafia to take solace in the fact that the late traditional ruler’s reign was peaceful and progressive, Dr. Iro Ukpai, who is the Co-Founder of PolitlQ Ltd prayed God to grant late Udumaeze eternal rest.
