The House of Representatives member-elect for Arochukwu Ohafia Federal Constituency, Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa, on Thursday, attended a reception to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and the Queen Consort.
He shared photos from the event on his Facebook page on Thursday night.
The photos were captioned, “Tonight I had the pleasure of attending the state celebration on the occasion of the Coronation of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen Consort at the residence of the British High Commissioner in Abuja @UKinNigeria and I represented the good people of Arochukwu & Ohafia at the occasion. The event was a beautiful celebration of the longstanding friendship between Nigeria and the United Kingdom, and it was an honour to be a part of it.”
The coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as King and Queen of the United Kingdom, took place on 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey.
