Charges Abians to Keep Hope Alive.

As Christians all over the world celebrate the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the PRP Governorship Candidate of the just concluded March 18th Gubernatorial election in Abia State, Nnenna N’mma Lancaster-Okoro Esq, has enjoined the faithful to see this period of the celebration as a time for sober reflections and ultimate joy.

In her Easter message, the 2023 Abia State PRP Guber Candidate described the suffering, crucifixion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ as the only gateway through which hope for eternity is restored to mankind, while reconciling man with God .

She noted that without the “ultimate sacrifice” rendered by Christ on the cross, the Christian faith would have been seen as a dismal adventure.

Lancaster-Okoro called on Christians to exhibit the exemplary legacies of Christ during His sojourn on earth, adding that through such means, the world would be made a better place for all.

She identified virtues such as patience, endurance, love for one another, peace and above all, strong faith in God, pointing out that with these attributes Christ was able to defeat death and liberate mankind from the shackles of darkness.

She further charged the faithful to remember the sick and the less-privileged among them with their gift of charity as they celebrate, maintaining that God loves a cheerful giver.

Lancaster-Okoro, however, called on Abians to keep hope alive in their earnest desires to witness effective dividends of democracy in the State.

While wishing Abians a happy Easter celebration, the 2023 PRP Guber candidate added that as Christ liberated mankind from the bondage of sin and death, so shall people of Abia State be liberated from the timeworn tales and woes of neglect and decay; noting that the vision of connecting the State to the mainstream politics of the world remain on course.
