Eminent businessman, Chief Dr. Sam Anya has congratulated the people of Abia state and their governor-elect, Dr. Alex Otti and his Deputy, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu on their victory in the March 18 gubernatorial election in the state.
Chief Anya said the emergence of Otti as governor-elect is the will of God as power can only come from Him.
In a congratulatory message to the good people of Abia state, Anya urged the governor-elect to serve the people with the fear of God and unite all Abians irrespective of where they come from.
He expressed confidence in the ability of the governor-elect to change the rhetoric in Abia state through human capital and infrastructure development in all nooks and crannies of the state.
Dr. Otti’s intimidating credentials, he noted, “will in no distant time become manifest in the State.
He advised the governor-elect to assemble a credible team of technocrats and policymakers with vast experience into the governance of the state so as not to dash the high expectations and the goodwill as demonstrated by the electorate in electing him.
