Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has announced the immediate suspension of the Rector of Abia State Polytechnic.
Chris Ezem, the Secretary to the State Government, said this in a statement on Sunday in Umuahia.
Mr Ezem said Associate Professor Hagler Okorie will serve as the acting Rector.

The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has approved the immediate suspension of the Rector of Abia State Polytechnic Aba, and the appointment of Associate Professor, Hagler Okorie as the acting rector.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
