Eminent lawyer, Etigwe Uwa (SAN) has congratulated Nigerians on the 62nd anniversary of the nation’s independence, saying that the future of the country looks bright despite the present challenges.
The Abia state governorship hopeful, in a statement signed by him said the
“travails of nationhood which we are currently experiencing would soon come to end and Nigeria would be ushered into a new phase of prosperity and development.”
The statement said: “I felicitate with all Nigerians today as we mark our 62nd independence anniversary. The travails of nationhood which we are currently experiencing would soon come to end and Nigeria would be ushered into a new phase of prosperity and development.
“Regarding the good people of Abia State, today’s independence anniversary marks the beginning of the march of our people towards independence from bad governance, poor infrastructure, poor healthcare and educational facilities and the end of the unjust withholding of workers’ wages and other emoluments. I bring you a message of hope today for a redeemed and restored Abia set to flourish.”
