Labour Party candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, Mr Ibe Okwara Osonwa has declared that his ambition is triggered by his passion to give quality and effective representations to the good but deprived people of Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency in House of Representatives.
Osonwa stated this while interacting with members of Ndi Ibe Ohafia Development Union (NDU), Abuja Branch on Sunday afternoon.
He lamented that the bane of the Federal Constituency since the political dispensation has been unpatriotic representations and vowed to change the status quo for the betterment of the populace.
The candidate insisted that he has the Midas touch for job creation, welfare oriented legislative policies, agricultural revolution, employment opportunities, skills acquisition and infrastructural development and transformation.
He passionately appealed to the people to consider integrity, pedigree and not beclouded with empty promises.
Earlier in his address, the president of the union, Chief Joe Kalu Ibe lamented the state of affairs in the state, noting that the people were ready to elect competent and credible leaders in 2023.
Also, the vice president of the union, Elder Bright Idika warned politicians not to underrate the community due to her voting strength, stressing that the community was ready to deliver block votes to any candidate that recognizes the community.
Also speaking, Comrade Sunny Idika assured the candidate of the support of the community, insisting that Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency must be represented by a competent leader.
The event was attended by community leaders, political stakeholders and associates of the Labour Party candidate.
