Frontline house of representatives aspirant for Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, Ibe Okwara Osonwa, has urged Muslims in Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency and the country at large to use the opportunity of this year’s Ramadan fast to renew their commitment in service to God and humanity.
Osonwa in a congratulatory message issued in Umuahia, Saturday, admonished all Muslim faithful to use the holy month to pray for peace in Nigeria.
“I urge all Muslim faithful to pray for peace and unity of the nation. We need peace in Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency and Nigeria at large. It is only in an atmosphere of peace that we can make progress as a people.
“I am very optimistic that with prayers from our Muslim brothers and Christians who are rounding up their lent, we shall overcome some of the security challenges facing Nigeria,” he said.
