Philosophically, ” TRUTH” they said is a standing force that cannot be suppressed no matter how it may be hated still retains its feasibility, power and light ad ‘ infinitum and shall continue to outshine darkness as an omen of falsehood and backwardness.Once truth is spoken, some folks begin to panic, scheming plans on how to twist it to suit their egocentric ambitions not minding the destructive aftermat of their recklessness.

The yesterday media attack on Senator T. A Orji by the Ukwa La Ngwa Council of Elders for sincerely siding rotational power among the three Senatorial districts in Abia State was not only a political sacriliege but a calculated attempts to mischievously pitch Senator Orji against the serving Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu. Senator Orji having a godly conscience maintained that it would be the turn of Abia North to produce the next Governor of the State based on the long sustained and peaceful rotation of power the State has been enjoying but instead of this spoken truth to be commended, Ukwa la Ngwa Council of Elders needlessly took to lambasting the distinguished Senator . Take it or not, truth is a motion that no one will be able to control or regulate its speed.

Their purported stand on Abia Central to complete her 16 years of unbroken hold of power is a wrong impression of calumny created by political vultures and distortionists for their own selfish interests. In Abia State, there exists three Senatorial zones and all the zones would be exhausting their intervals of 8 years tenure with Dr Okezie Ikpeazu serving out the tenure of his zone in 29th May, 2023. From there, Abia North will be taking over the mantle of leadership which is the unbendable truth even in the eyes of the devil. Those fermenting and stoking the embers of trouble in Abia Land should desist from doing so before they see themselves in shameful mess because such skewed injustice must be resisted.

It amounts to recklessness, compromise and unguided utterances for Ukwa La Ngwa Council of Elders to beileve that the Governor makes the final decision of who succeeds him. By the virtues of democracy, power belongs to the people and those banking their hope of getting to power through the help of the governor should bury their heads in shame for not simply understand that it is an act of sabotage on democracy to transfer the rights of the entire electorate to one person. This is exactly the same lopsided political imbrioglio Southern Nigeria especially the South Eastern region is facing today in national power distrubutions.

Those who see truth and work to suppress it are mischief makers and no society thrives in the face of unnecessary clannized sentiment. ” Oke Zuo Abia” as a drive for excellence and peace sustainability must never be compromised; Rotational power system must not be scuttled; there must be zero tolerance for anything that could truncate peace in Abia land; No section of people must be allowed to inflict the land with derision, mayhem and inter clan conflicts in Abia State. Senator T. A Orji did not speak ills for openly supporting equity and fairplay in the governance of the State . He deserves to be honoured for defending the truth than the needless media attack levelled against him by Ukwa La Ngwa people .Let men learn to be guided, cautioned and constructive in the way and manner they see and react to things in the present Nigeria political situations.
