Etigwe Uwa Leads Haitian Presidential Aspirant, Jean-Charles Moïse, To Visit Senate Principal Officers
A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr. Etigwe Uwa, yesterday alongside Mr. Chinedu Kanu led Senator Jean-Charles Moïse, a ranking former Haitian Senator and current presidential candidate for the forthcoming Haitian presidential elections to the National Assembly to meet Senate Leader, Senator Dr. Yahaya A. Abdullahi, Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and Senator Michael Ama Nnachi, Senator representing Ebonyi South at the National Assembly.
The Haitian expressed the desire to renew and reestablish relationship between Haiti and Nigeria and particularly the Southeast which is the original home of most Haitians.
Senators Abdullahi, Uzor Kalu, Abaribe and Nnachi expressed happiness at the visit of the delegation and looked forward to greater cooperation and collaboration between the Nigeria and Haiti.
