A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr. Etigwe Uwa on Wednesday, said he was still consulting over 2023 gubernatorial election in Abia state.
He said he will not turn down individuals and groups who are urging him to contest for governor.
The eminent lawyer spoke in Abuja during an interactive meeting with Abia Young Professionals.
He maintained that consultations with political stakeholders was still ongoing.
“I have lived all my life settling disputes. It is time to give back to the people. I am still consulting,” he said.
Responding to the statement from the learned silk, the leader of the group, Comrade Eruba Chris pleaded with him on behalf of the group to join the guber race.
He said, “Today we are here as Abia Young Professionals comprising of lawyers, doctors, media personality and others to interact with you on the state of Abia.
“We have listened to you on how best to move Abia state forward; we are pleading with you to join the guber race because we have faith in your leadership qualities,” he said.
