A man endowed with the virtue of charity is one who feels deeply and loves fiercely. He is humble, humane, philanthropic and powerful; such a person excels in whatever he does.
He loves, cares, perseveres and feels the pulse of others, especially the youth and down trodden.
Such is an epitome virtue of Dr. Chidia Maduekwe. Hence, on Sunday, 2nd January 2022, all roads leading to Ohafia clan were busy for the conferment of chieftaincy title of Ishinka Ohafia by Ohafia Council of Monarchs on this erudite man of excellence, wisdom and intelligence and stardom.
Having represented the good people of Ohafia/Arochukwu federal constituency, he is the Managing Director of Nigerian Film Cooperation (NFC) for successful two consecutive times due to his wealth of experience and impact in the federal agency.
As the NFC Boss, he has attracted various partnership with home base agencies and foreign countries including France and Germany.
Back home, he attracted the construction of Federal Government College, Ohafia and has used his pet project, Ka-anyi Kesandu in touching the life of women by providing high breed agricultural seedlings and cash amount to help them in their produce cum silent medical assistance to everyone in recent time.
While bestowing the Ishinka Ohafia honour on Dr. Maduekwe, he also lay foundation for the School of Cinematography in Asaga Ohafia which is under the Nigerian Film Cooperation as means to improve talents in film making and production in the southeast Nigeria.
Dr. Maduekwe acknowledged the support of friends, family, political and business associates.
With these, the Ohafia community appreciates these antecedents through which Dr. Maduekwe has rode and prays for more grace and greater height in his endeavor.
