New Year: Chief Dr. Sam Anya Congratulates Abians, Expresses Hope For A Prosperous 2022
Abia born philanthropist and businessman, Chief Dr. Sam Anya has greeted the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency for their undiluted unity, support and sense of patriotism in helping Governor Okezie Ikpeazu secure the state for peace and stability.
Anya lauded the people in a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Ohafia on 1st January, 2022, expressing hope for a prosperous 2022.
He particularly admonished Abians to continue to support the programmes and policies of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, adding that he truly meant well for the state following his developmental strides across the state.
However, Dr. Anya charged Abians to continue to advance and sustain the existing unity in the state, noting that there is strength in unity and genuine love .
He said, “I thank God and congratulate all Abians for witnessing the New Year, 2022, and also pray for divine provision for us all to live a good and comfortable life throughout this year.”
Continuing, Anya said that the out gone year was characterized with a lot of uncertainties, but assured Abians that the year 2022 will be a good year, noting that its significance as it hosts activities in the run up of next election, stating that he expects a lot of good things to happen preparatory to the 2023 election.
“The year 2021 was with a lot of uncertainties, but by God’s Grace this year will be a good year, especially as it is the year before the next national elections, and I expect good things to happen as we prepare for the 2023 elections this year,” he stated.
He further reminded Abians that going into the New Year, they should not enter it with anger and unforgiving spirit.
