Continuous Voter Registration: One Love Foundation Charges Nigerians To Participate In Ongoing Exercise

As part of its sensitization programme for Nigerians to exercise their voting rights, a civil society group, One Love Foundation has charged Nigerians who have attained the age of 18 years to participate in the ongoing Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.

The group stated this in a statement signed by its Global President, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor and made available to THE WHISPERER on Wednesday.

He reminded Nigerians on the importance of the exercise and charged eligible voters who have not registered to seize the opportunity by getting captured on INEC’s database and consequently obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).

“Nigerians should seize the opportunity to obtain their PVCs, so as to be able to exercise their franchise in the run-up to the 2023 General Elections and in subsequent elections.

“Through the PVCs, we can elect credible and trusted leaders to pilot the affairs of the nation. One Love Foundation is determined to help Nigerians produce a selfless and hardworking leaders. We cannot achieve this feet when people don’t register.

“Nigerians should endeavour to register and be part of the electoral processes in 2023. You cannot complain about bad leadership when you don’t have a voter’s card.

“Your voter’s card is your sword and, it is what you can use to chase away these looters dragging Nigeria backward. It is important we register to enable us elect credible leaders in 2023

“It is time to cast the bandits away from power. The only remedy for a change to happen is by vote. Those that do not vote are failing to carry out their civic responsibility. They are also handing over their political power to these people without doing much.

“Voting gives citizens a chance to choose their leaders and gives them an opportunity to voice their opinions on past performance of official’s responsibilities; Thus expressing their opinion on public issues.

“One of the key ideas of a democratic government is its commitment to equality and justice. Equality and justice are inseparable. It’s very important to inquire the past of who’s representing you not only by promises they never keep. Deviate from being brainwashed with  peanuts  as this is the main plague devastating our political system. Know who you vote; Get your voters card to vote out our vultures and bandits from power in order to rewrite our history.
Enough is Enough,” he said.
