Ohafia Local Government Area, is an administrative jurisdiction assigned by the Nigeria Government, which covers the entire Ohafia villages and other clans such as Abiriba and Nkporo, with its Administrative Headquarters at Ebem Ohafia.

1. Chinonso Ukah
Chinonso Ukah, also known as Nons Miraj but more popularly as Ada Jesus, is an actress, comedienne, singer and brand influencer.
The creative and versatile Ada Jesus enjoys playing the role of a magician in her comedy skits. Her style of comedy is characterised by magical displays.
She is from Amurie Nkporo in Ohafia LGA. She had her secondary education at Command Secondary School and studied at Babcock University where she earned an MBA in Public Administration.
She took part in the Next Movie Star, Nigerian TV reality show and became first runner-up. Chinonso began her acting career in the mid 2015, starring in Nollywood horror film “Quiet”. She began full time acting in 2017,after gaining admission into the university. She has also featured in several other Nollywood movies including, Imperfect (2019), Pandora’s Box (2020), Our Wife (2019), The Third Wheel (2021), Hustle (2021), among others.
Nons Minaj gained prominence in the comedy industry through the posting of her viral magical-mother skits on social media.
Some of her skirts have featured Nigerian celebrities including Kanayo .O. Kanayo, Don Jazzy, Peruzzi, among others.
2. Aloma Isaac Junior
Aloma Isaac Junior (born November 7, 1991) known by his stage name Zicsaloma is a Nigerian comedian, actor, and singer. He rose to prominence for comedic videos he posts to Instagram, and TikTok.
Zicsaloma was born in Kaduna State and originally hails from Abia State. He attended the Sacred Heart Primary School for his primary education and Airforce Secondary School for his secondary education. He studied English and Literary Studies at the Abia State University.
Prior to becoming a comedian, Zicsaloma contested in The Voice Nigeria season 2 competition and got eliminated in the semi-finals. After bagging his degree, he embarked on full time comedy in 2017, and became an internet sensation after his viral comic skit on TikTok.
Zicsaloma skits focus on varying themes from social changes and playing a role as Sister Ekwitos, a female evangelist character.
3. Mong Kalu
Mong Kalu, better known as MONKALS, is a multi talented Entertainment Practitioner based in Lagos, Nigeria.
He hails from Akan Ohafia, but was born and bred in Calabar where his career kicked off.
He’s a Standup Comedian, Actor, Musician, Poet, Screenplay, Content Creator, and so on.
Apart from being the first Ohafia Comedian to have been signed as a Brand Ambassador by a multinational telco, Airtel Nigeria. He’s also the first Ohafia son to play the role of an accented Calabar man in the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood. He’s the popular character, ETUK, on the hilarious Africa Magic TV series, DOGOOD.
He has featured on almost all the legendary comedy stages in Nigeria, including “Night Of A Thousand Laughs, Crack Ya Ribs, AY Live, and many others, and of course one of the pioneer performing acts at the Africa’s Biggest Street Party, Calabar Carnival.
He has had his own branded comedy shows in Calabar before and after relocating to Lagos, which are “LAFF CRUSADE” and “LAFTA CARD” hence earning him a “Legendary Award” at the World Comedy Day organized by the Cross River State Comedians Guild Of Nigeria.
