There seem to be no end to the assault debacles of Umar Danladi, chairman of Code of Conduct Tribunal, as he is once again embroiled in a case of abduction, after assaulting and brutalising a certain Clement Sagwak on 29th March 2021.

According to eye witnesses at Banex Plaza, Danladi is alleged to have visited Banex Plaza again in an Armada jeep that very day, with masked security officers and other security men in the evening, and was seen allegedly harassing and threatening people.

The witness also alleged that Danladi ordered the arrest of a tenant of Banex Plaza, Abuja whose name is Peter Onyiuke, an Igbo man.

“Onyiuke, allegedly abducted by the security officers of Umar Danladi, (CCB Chairman), is currently missing. We have not seen him, or heard from him, and his phones have been switched off”, a trader alleged.

Reacting to the development, Ihensekhien Samuel Jr, attorney to Clement Sagwak and legal representative of One Love Foundation, described the abduction of Onyiuke as worrisome and highly unacceptable.

Ihensekhien who is also the Legal Manager of Banex Group Limited gave Umar 24 hours to release the abducted Onyiuke, “without no exception or else legal action will be instituted for Peter Onyiuke to compel Mr Umar Danladi to release him forthwith from anywhere he is being held”, he concluded.
