In his quest to further deploy the vast wealth of knowledge and experience in respect to governance which he had gained for over 10 years as a federal lawmaker to develop Anambra State, Engr Chris Emeka Azụbọgụ visited the State office of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday 29th January, 2021 to officially declare his intention to contest the November 6th, 2021 Governorship elections.
In his declaration address, Mr. Project noted that election is not an event, but rather a process. A process that requires the deployment of all logistics and strategies necessary to win. Make no mistake, he showed practically that he is not only prepared to serve, but much more prepared to win the incoming Governorship election of the state if given the Party’s flag to fly as a candidate!
He made a couple of calls on the occasion.
In his words, “Governance is about creating enabling environment for businesses to thrive and we have the resources and competent youth population to take advantage of such provisions. Government cannot employ up to 5% of the population, therefore, it is useless waiting for government to do more than providing conducive business atmosphere for an effective private sector. Within the first one year in office, we would convene proper economic summit which will compel people to come and invest at home.”
Hear him again about energy source, for the industrial revolution of the state: “I assure you that we could secure permission to lay gas pipelines in the state within 18 months of my assumption, from ANO 4, ASA north Ohaji gas field by SEPLANT, into Anambra State and cross our link at Anambra North gas field. By doing so, we’ll bring industrial development to the State. We’re practically involved in the act of bringing deeper key infrastructure to develop our economy”.
Talking on many facets of human endeavour and government structures, Hon Azụbọgụ showed in practical terms that he understands where he is taking the state to, to be repositioned in the comity of developed societies in the world.
Come, ndị Anambra, for us to choose the most experienced, support the most prepared, and elect the most successful politician to build for us a system that can solve our problems!
