Igbo leader and Chieftain of People’s Democratic Party(PDP), Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu (Atakata Igbo Global) has congratulated Prof. George Obiozor on his emergence as the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
Kalu said his successful emergence and acceptability across board was a testament of the truth that the Igbos were now united.
He expressed confidence that Obiozor’s wealth of experience will bring progress, development and unity to the Igbos.
Kalu, in a statement signed by his media office urged Obiozor to diligently pursue the long desired Nigerian President of Igbo extraction in 2023.
“The news of the successful conduct of the election of Ohanaeze Ndigbo is commendable. I congratulate Prof. Obiozor and his team for their victory in the election.”
“I am confident that his wealth of experience and regime will bring the desired progress, development and unity to all Igbos.”
“Prof. Obiozor must use his new position to pursue diligently the current clamour for President of Nigeria from South East extraction and generally pursue the full reintegration of the Igbos in the national polity.” Kalu said.
