Popular Social Crusader and President of One Love Foundation, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor has berated the Governor of Cross River State, Professor Ben Ayade for saying that houses of Cross Riverians would be demolished by his government if they harbor criminals in the state.
Eholor, while reacting to the statement said it’s nonsensical, irresponsible and insensitive for any government to destroy the properties of its citizens without committing any crime. He wondered why such utterances will come from a governor who was supposed to be a Professor.
He cautioned Ayade not to transfer his leadership failures to the citizens of the state by destroying their properties and investments in the name of governance.
He wondered why a landlord’s property would be destroyed by the government even when such person have no idea of any criminal activities in the state. He said the action will only help to discourage investors from coming to the state.
“I sympathize with the people of Cross River State whose dream of a better Cross River State the Governor have brutally raped and bastardized with ineffective leadership. When people read on newspapers and watch their edited videos on television, you’ll think the Governor is a serious person. He’s such a disaster and failure like his friends in Abia, Edo State and Rivers state.
“Prof. Ben Ayade has failed woefully in delivering his campaign Manifesto. Recall, that he promised to INDUSTRIALIZE Cross River State. Rather than industrializing the state, he has succeeded in chasing out many companies out of Cross River State with his poor governmental policies aimed at emasculating and enervating companies within the State. Today, the few companies left are crying over high taxation and lack of governmental synergy.”
“Today, we wants to chase the remaining ones out with his threats to demolish properties and houses in the state. It’s highly insensitive to do that.”
“Recall, that he promised to make SECURITY one of your topmost priority. It has become mind blowing and excruciatingly ridiculous that Cross River State that was once known for the peaceful and serene environment it offers, have ingloriously become a theatre for Cultism, Banditry and Kidnapping. It is on record, that his administration witnessed the highest number of Killings involving Cultism, and kidnapping of mostly Medical Practitioners. If he has failed to do that, why is he now targeting houses and properties of the masses?”
“Where is the Calabar Seaport he promised? Where is the Super-Duper Highway he promised? Where is the Spaghetti Fly Over he promised to construct at ODUKPANI JUNCTION?
Funny enough, he succeeded in completing these white Elephant projects only on the pages of Newspapers, Gigantic BillBoards, Media, Posters etc.”
“Like Ayade, like Obaseki; Like Ayade, like Wike; Like Ayade, like Ikpeazu; They are specialists in failure. Governor Obaseki is nothing but a monumental disaster. He couldn’t fulfill any of promise to the good people of Edo State except his “MOUs” which is what he’s good at. Today, there’s no industrial park, there’s no refinery and there is no Gelegele seaport. Insecurity in Edo State is the highest we’ve seen since the creation of the state. It’s quite unfortunate.”
“Wike has ended up as a disgrace to the Southsouth people with no signature projects to his name despite the billions he has received as a governor. He has reduced himself to a Hitler issuing threats from all angles without results. One of his funny threats to the ENDSARS protesters which ended up humiliating him should as well be a lesson to these speacialists in failure.”
