Following the attack launched by Mr. Ikechukwu Iroha on a respected and illustrious son of Ohafia, Chief Ndukwe Ikoh  while trying to defend the achievements of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, a Political Scientist, Dr. Uwa Orji Uwa has described the attack as unfortunate and a big setback for Ohafia clan ahead of 2023 general elections.

Dr. Uwa while reacting to the comments credited to Mr. Iroha said it was a huge setback for Ohafia clan politically ahead of 2023 polls. He said while the clan was trying to unite politically, the comments made by Iroha against his kinsman shows that Ohafia political class was far from being united.

He accused PDP members from Ohafia of being saboteurs and playing hypocritical politics aimed at undermining the interests of the majority of the people.

“What I read online was quite unfortunate and shameful. It’s a big setback for Mben Ofur’ishi with regards to 2023 gubernatorial election. This shameful and disrespectful action shows that PDP members from Ohafia are against their own producing the next governor of the state. It’s quite unfortunate!”

”For your information, PDP members from Ohafia clan don’t even have the structures of their party even in their ward. From Okamu to Isiama ward, it’s controlled by outsiders. These people should be ashamed of themselves and apologise to the people for failing them politically.”

“I think the politicians from Ohafia are the major problem of the Ohafia people because they are selfish and self centered. Groups like Ohafia Summit, Ohafia Improvement Union and Mben Political Assembly should bring these people together otherwise 2023 would be a waste.”

“Finally, let me inform you that PDP members are working hard to frustrate MPA and other groups working for the people. You see their attitudes towards the Ohafia ejikerele project. They are working against their people and 2023 would be their end if they don’t support an Ohafia man.”
