For a while now, Ikechukwu Iroha from Amaekpu Ohafia has earned himself the reputation of being one of the foremost Hallelujah boys under the payroll of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s government whose primary job is to attack every divergent opinion, government critic and sing Hallelujah even when it is clear that the government of Abia State has continued to fail in many parts if brought in comparison with sister states in the region, but that’s not my preoccupation at the moment as other issues need to be addressed, “as e dey hot”.
It is very unfortunate that when you hear the likes of Ikechukwu Iroha jumping up and down like crickets after forest fire and attacking people who say their opinion on the state of Abia, you will think that it is out of their love for Abia State, No! They’re trying to defend their monthly allowance as PA on propaganda and media watchdogs for a government that has performed abysmally.
It is also pathetic that the likes of Ikechukwu Iroha do not pay attention to reality of happenstances around them become they’re too engrossed in partisanship, praise singing and playing watchdog roles on social media that they have lost touch of what is actually happening in the State they come from, or maybe they just pretend all is well in order to appear holy and hardworking “Bahd Boys” before their paymaster.
For instance, it was Ikechukwu Iroha that took it upon himself to always insist that picturistic evidences of state of roads in Abia (internal roads, not federal) are termed photoshopped and FAKE News”, even when I was standing inside the photoshop. Then I made another video to prove myself right and he lost his Hallelujah stance and got dumb to date. Though in his magnanimity as a smart governor, Ikpeazu mobilized and cleaned up the said Ahia Ohuru Market in response to the post. Now you can understand that out of eye service and sing-song disposition of the likes of Ikechukwu Iroha, he has lost touch with even the government that is paying him.
This is exactly why him, Ikechukwu Iroha and co has brought more criticism and attacks on the government of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu through their self serving attacks on everyone that do not say ^Oh Yes, we are alright” in Abia State. Such people are not supposed to be in government if not to curb youth joblessness. To this I will say Kudos to OVI because he has created many jobs to youths by this means. But he should also hand them their job description.
Ikechukwu Iroha was talking about plank in Chief Ndukwe Iko’s eyes by pointing out failures of Federal Government which Chief Iko happens to be a stakeholder. I am not holding brief for Iko or APC, indeed APC has failed in many ways, admittedly, but same Ikechukwu Iroha failed to accept that as the Federal Government, Abia State under his master has performed more abysmally.
Is this then a kind of competition in failure? Or is Ikechukwu Iroha trying to play the roles of Lai Mohammed, Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina, all rolled into one. The ones whose duty it is to tell Nigerians on behalf of the government that you’re not hungry even when they’re starving?
Talk about pension and arrears, Ikechukwu Iroha has answers to it even when evidently old workers are dying after serving the government, (one of my uncle is a vicrim). The rest is history because the list is endless.
I think it is high time this young man begin to understand that governments come and go but Abia will remain. Your reward is not attached to the elders you attacked and insulted in the name of defending your pay/conviction against others’ that differs from yours because Governor Okezie Ikpeazu may well understand the intricacies that you do not.. You should also know that your reputation is built around how you’re handling the little PA role given to you. If you think you can shut everyone up with insult and “over-sabi” attitude, then think again.
Chief Iko may not have time to reply you because he may not even know you, but we that are still in the same level with you can put you right by telling you that you cannot cry more than the bereaved, because if you do, some may think you have a hand in their death.
Be rest assured that when time for lynching comes as a result of rudderless, clueless and stagnant leadership in Nigeria, they’ll be no hiding place for you and your government, make no mistake about this.
