Renowned Crusader and President of One Love Foundation, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor has called on youths across the country not to be intimidated by the announcement made by the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike banning street protests against the corruption, anarchy and brutality being perpetrated by the men of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS).

Eholor, said such action by the Rivers State Governor is reckless, dictatorial, shameless and undemocratic. He wondered why a leader who calls himself a democrat would descend so low infringing on the rights of Nigerians to peaceful demonstrations.

The Crusader, in a statement in Abuja urged the youths to continue their protests until all  victims of SARS’ brutality gets justice and other issues affecting security like proper funding of the police in the country are attended to.

He said that the protest must be sustained until other social and economic ills bedeviling the country like corruption, injustice, insecurity, high cost in governance and unemployment are decisively addressed by government at all level.

He commended the Nigerian youths for their courage in the ongoing EndSARS campaign  across the nation despite harassment, intimidation and brutality by the police who were out to forcefully stop the movement.

He said the atrocities and menace of SARS is as a result of the leadership failure and bad foundation laid by the former Vice President while in office. He said the desperate action of the former Vice President is selfish, questionable and disgusting.

He wondered why a corrupt leader who superintendent the darkness faced by Nigerians would have the effrontery and audacity to incite the youths. He insisted that Nigerians must continue to reject failed and desperate leaders like Atiku Abubakar who has failed them in the past when trusted with leadership position.

He further berated Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for not speaking up for Nigerians despite being a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. He said the action of the Vice President is hypocritical and shameful. He urged Nigerians to always elect leaders that will always stand up for them in the future. He said both the PDP and APC have failed Nigerians.
