Peoples Democratic Party Coalition, PDPCO, a pro group of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has opened a new Zonal Office in Enugu.
Announcing the opening of the office, the group’s National Coordinator, Chief Emeka Kalu said the Enugu office is a further testament of the group’s readiness to consolidate the efforts of the party’s National Working Committee to consolidate and enhance the popularity of the party in the region and beyond.
He appreciated the effort of the South East Zonal Coordinator, Chief Emeka Aneke for his foresight and ingenuity in leading the group in the Zone.
Kalu said, “Mr Aneke played a critical role in getting this place and I appreciate his efforts and sacrifices for our great party.”
Kalu further used the opportunity to highlight the aims and objectives of his group as he called on PDP stakeholders to embrace the activities of the group for the betterment of the party.
“Our own is to bring back PDP to power in 2023; To help make Nigeria a better place where our youths would be fully employed, Solve the menacing insecurity problem facing the nation, usher in a fresh air in governance by supporting competent and capable leaders.”
“PDP Coalition as a pro PDP group with the task of assisting the party in mobilizing at the grassroots level starting with the polling units, wards, L.G.As and State levels respectively.”
“We also work as a supportive mechanism to the national leadership of PDP to win every elections organized anywhere in the country.”
“Our mission is to bring all well meaning Nigerians together to love and cherish Nigeria, enshrine the principles of good governance; let Nigerians to know that patriotism should be ahead of greed, tribalism, corruption, nepotism and division.”
“Our Structures are spread out to all the levels with Coordinators. We also have Chapters in Ghana, South Africa, Asia, Europe and America.”
On his part, the South East Zonal Coordinator, Chief Emeka Aneke, said the office space was for easy administration and, that the Zone is posed to recovering Anambra and Imo states respectively back to PDP.
“The opening PDPCO South East Office in Enugu was aimed at giving the Coalition the necessary grassroots presence for ease of administration, organization, coordination and access to the South East States. Since we have declared the recovery of Anambra and Imo states are our immediate project, the zonal office at Enugu is the first step in setting up the south East operational base.” he state.
The South East PDP Coalition Office is located at 38 Garden Avenue, GRA Enugu.
