As the 2023 general election gathers momentum, a pro group, Etigwe Youth Ambassadors (EYA), has drummed support for a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Etigwe Uwa, to emerge as the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the 2023 governoship election in Abia state. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has disqualified two of the 17 presidential aspirants seeking its ticket to contest the 2023 election. The two disqualified aspirants are to forfeit the N40 million each of them paid for the expression of interest and nomination forms.
