Kola Balogun, a senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, will this week declare his intention to run for the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), barring a last-minute change of plans.
