A former national publicity secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh, has resigned his membership of the party, noting that he would be involved henceforth in non-partisan politics. Metuh’s resignation was contained in a letter he wrote to the PDP national chairman, Dr Iyochia Ayu, dated October 25 and sighted by THE WHISPERER on Wednesday. The leadership of Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended former governorship aspirant, Mr. Obinna Oriaku from the party. Also suspended was Uzo Azubuike, a former member of the House of Representatives representing Aba North/Aba South Federal Constituency. Azubuike, also a former commissioner for Agriculture in the state under Governor Okezie Ikpeazu administration before defecting to the APC and his Finance counterpart, who equally joined the APC from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), were suspended by the APC for anti-party activities.
