Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State is set to dump the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC). The governor may announce his defection as early as tomorrow, Thursday, May 20. As a prelude to the defection, Ayade is at the moment hosting a dinner in Government House, Calabar, with seven APC Governors in attendance. Ngwa Peace Foundation (NPF), has promised to reciprocate the support gained by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu during the 2015 and 2019 gubernatorial elections in which the Ohafia people massively supported and voted for him.
