Former governor of Imo State, Chief Ikedi Ohakim on Tuesday decamped to the All Progressive Congress (APC). Ohakim was the gubernatorial candidate of the Accord Party in 2019 governorship election in Imo State. He was received by Imo APC leaders at a ceremony organised to welcome him to the party. Ohakim was elected Governor of Imo State on 28th April, 2007 and was sworn in on  29th May, 2007 as the 13th Governor of Imo State and the 4th to be democratically elected under the platform of Progressives Peoples Alliance (PPA). The PDP Governors’ Forum has urged the National Assembly to entrench electronic transmission of results of elections into the nation’s electoral law. The call was contained in a 10-point communique issued at the end of the Governors’ Forum meeting, on Monday in Bauchi. The communique read by the Chairman of the Forum, Gov.
