The All Progressives Grand Alliance has added Orumba North Local Government Area to its victory in the ongoing governorship election. Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, APGA candidate in the election polled a total of 4,826 votes ahead of Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who secured 2,692 votes and Mr Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who had 1,863 votes. INEC extends voting in Anambra governorship election to Sunday The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended voting in Anambra governorship poll to Sunday, to allow voters who were not able to vote due to malfunctioning of the Bimodal Accreditation System (BVAS) to vote.
