Dare devil gunmen whose identity can not be verified have attacked and kidnapped a Police officer with the Edo State Police Command, IgbereTV reports. Eyewitnesses said the unknown gunmen broke into the Benin residence of the victim, identified as ASP Clement Amoko, in the early hours of Sunday and whisked him away. The Presidency on Sunday said cleared air on viral reports of fire outbreak which was recorded inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja as being reported in some quarters. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, made the clarification in a statement titled "Bush fire incident recorded outside villa perimeter." Fear has gripped residents of Amanze and Amainyi communities in Ihitte Uboma Local Government Area of Imo State after the decomposing bodies of a young woman and a young man were discovered inside a big sac at a bush path within the axis.
