Senate Probes CCT Chairman, Danladi Umar, Over Alleged Assault The Senate on Tuesday referred a petition against the chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) Danladi Umar over alleged assault of a guard, Clement Sagwak, at Banex Plaza, Wuse 2, Abuja. The incident occurred on March 29, 2021. Sagwak had also petitioned the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to probe the incident. Tears As Chad’s President Idriss Deby Itno Dies After Fighting Rebels   Chad’s newly re-elected President Idriss Deby Itno who has been in power for three decades has died of injuries while fighting rebels in the north of the Sahel country, the army said on Tuesday. Five killed as police, gunmen clash in Anambra Two Policemen and three others were killed in Ukpo, Dunukfia local government area of Anambra when gunmen attacked zone -13 Police Headquarters in the State.
