An eighteen (18) years old girl, Esther from Ado Local Government Area of Benue state, in the early hours of Monday, 11th January, 2021, burnt her boy friend, Elvis Chidinma Omah from Nsuka local Government Area of Enugu State to death in Makurdi. Rear Admiral (retired) Ndubuisi Godwin Kanu is dead;  the whisperer can report. The new of his demise broke out this morning from a family source. Kanu was appointed military governor of IMO State of Nigeria in March 1976 during the military regime of General  Olusegun Obasanjo. He was the first governor after the decree that established the state from part of the old  East Central  state. Kogi state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has vowed more electoral victories for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), saying by the time the party is done with its membership registration and revalidation exercise, it would call on developed nations including the United States of America (USA) to come and learn from Nigeria. A serving corps member, identified as Princess Odume, has been arrested by the police after she allegedly hacked her male friend to death with a machete. The young woman, who is said to be a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State, was stripped naked and humiliated by neighbours of the deceased who caught her trying to jump over the fence with the cutlass.
