In honour of Army Chief, President Buhari declares Monday work-free day for armed forces
The President, Major Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has directed that the national flag be flown at half-mast for three days in honour of late Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen Ibrahim Attahiru, and 10 others who died in an air crash on Friday. He also approved Monday as a work-free day for members of the Armed Forces. The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.
