The National Broadcasting Commission has suspended the license of Human Rights Radio owned by Ordinary President, Ahmed Isah for recurring unprofessional conduct. The acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Alkali Usman has said that the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) created a vacuum which is challenging efforts by the Police to tackle insecurity in the country from a position of strength. President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Senator Basheer Mohammed as the new Director General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
