In what seems to be a coordinated attacks on security operatives in the south-east and south-south geo-political zones, two police officers were again killed on Saturday by some unknown gunmen who attacked a police facility in Ikono Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria’s South-south. It was indeed a black Saturday after a  brakeless truck lost control and ran into a market in Imo on Saturday afternoon, killing at least 20 women. The accident happened at Nkwommiri Market, near Nwangele River in Umuozu community of Imo. Suspected herdsmen has killed atleast five persons in a fresh attack on Friday morning in Gwer West local government area of Benue state.
