President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Doyin Salami as his Chief Economic Adviser after nearly seven years in office. The president had in 2016 appointed Adeyemi Dipeolu as Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters, but posted him to the Office of the Vice President.
