APGA Defeats Andy Uba, Ozigbo In Their LGA

Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has secured the highest votes in Aguata Local Government Area. Soludo, Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are all from Aguata. While announcing results at the Local Government Collation Centre, Professor Anim O Ajake, the Collation Officer for Aguata, said Soludo polled 9,136 votes, next to Uba who garnered 4773 votes and Obizo trailed with 3798. The deputy governor of Anambra state, Dr. Nkem Okeke, has lost his polling unit to the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA). The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Charles Soludo, won in his polling unit in Saturday’s governorship election in Anambra State. He polled 126 votes, with his closest rival, Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party, polling only five votes.
