Abdul-Azeez Adediran, gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, has condemned the alleged attack on traders from Alaba market in the state. On Thursday, there were comments on social media claiming that thugs had attacked traders from the Alaba market during a voter registration exercise in Ojo area of the state. A former aide to the late Sani Abacha, Hamza Al-Mustapha, has emerged as the presidential flag bearer of the Action Alliance (AA) for next year’s election. He got 506 votes to defeat his only contender, Samson Odupitan, in the party’s presidential primary held in Abuja on Thursday.
