Former Presidential spokesperson and TV anchor, Reuben Abati, clashed with Dr. Victor Oye, the National Chairman of APGA, on National TV this morning. Trouble started when Abati asked Mr. Oye to take full responsibility for the defamatory statements he made about another politician during the program. Abati accused Mr. Oye of telling him to shut up. An angry Abati immediately expressed his displeasure, arguing that Mr. Oye has no right to talk to him like that. Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja has refused to admit the leader of the Indigenous People's of Biafran, Nnamdi Kanu to bail. The Judge held that Mr Kanu must account for his whereabouts over the years when he was first granted bail but refused to attend his trial. At least three residents of Kano were killed while many are currently trapped in an explosion which rocked Sabongari in Fagge Local Government Area of the state. National Hospital dismisses claims of Osinachi’s corpse singing ‘Ekwueme’ at night

The National Hospital in Abuja, on Monday, dismissed claims that the corpse of popular gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, was singing ‘Ekwueme’ while in the mortuary. The spokesman for the hospital, Dr Taiwo Haastrup, said there was no proof that Osinachi’s body was singing in the morgue. Speaking with newsmen, Haastrup said somebody dead couldn’t be singing while in the morgue. Osinachi, a chorister at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, died a few months ago allegedly due to domestic violence she suffered from her husband, Peter Nwachukwu.
