Non-remittance of dollars to foreign reserves by the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is responsible for naira’s free fall in the official and parallel markets, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said. Some soldiers were feared killed when Boko Haram terrorists raided a military checkpoint around Zuma rock in Niger State, on Thursday night. The area close to Madalla town in the state is few meters away from Zuba along the Abuja Kaduna highway.
